Guess what? Last Sunday Azimin & me went to meet an owner of an art gallery. This is one of the projects under Azimin's Masterpiece. Actually, we just sent another 3 artworks to Pelita Hati Galeri @ Bangsar somewhere last week (may be almost 2 weeks). Then, the recent gallery that agreed to display Azimin's artwork is Artseni Gallery @ Starhill. Its located at the Muse Floor. Actually, we had a few discussion thru email & phone about this matter and we only got a chance to meet last Sunday.
That guy, Phillip Wong an artist & an owner for the Artseni Gallery, a co-founder of artbenvo Gallery and also a curator of Jiiva Fine Art Gallery. Thanks God! He like Azimin work very much. He said its look exectly like in the blog. We are wondering why and then rupanya dia kata some people normally they did a touch-up (photoshop, etc.) for the web purpose.
We got a good deal. He offered Azimin to do his solo exhibition @ their new banglow gallery @ Jalan Semarak, KL. The new gallery will be under Artboven as well. After some discussions, Azimin & me agree to set the exhibition somewhere in August 2008. We purposely choose in August so that Azimin has time to prepare and produce the artworks. Even it only will happen on August, I have to start working on the logistic matters earlier. May be in March.
A few things need to be arranged with the gallery; book publication, medias publicity, launching matters, brouchure, price agreement, setting arrangement, etc... The earlier gallery in Bangsar so far only mentioned to us that the solo exhibition will be after June since the gallery is full untul June.
Phillip would like to display a few artworks (we brought 4 samples) to create awareness of the public on his artworks. We received a good response on the spot... Masa tengah2 discuss tu ada a few people came in and asked the price for one of the artworks.... Even the commision quite high compared to the gallery in Bangsar, we understood since the location, the clients, etc. And the selling price also higher...
Oklah tu... nanti kita cerita lagi yer...
