Gong Xi Fa Chai!!!

A bit late but not too late kan to wish all my Chinese friends, ex-staff, ex-students, neighbors semua Happy Chinese New Year!!! Lama tak pergi beraya masa Chinese New Year nie!!!

Dulu masa study esp masa kat INTI, everytime CNY je, mesti happening. Nama pun aku seorang je Melayu dalam class kan... hahaha.. Limau bersepah2, siap lion dance lagi kat sana. It still the same masa I served INTI dulu. For 5 years, everytime CNY, Dr Lau Chee Kwong, Mr Cheah & Lawrence (oh, he was my best boss ever masa kat INTI and we're a good partner!!! Where are you now Lawrence?? Yup, we did tendered our resignation on the same day!!) akan bagi angpow.. Best tau!! And lepas balik cuti CNY, students akan berduyun-duyun datang bagi limau la, chocolates la, cookies la...

Kalau time kerja with Mid Valley City Mgmt Svcs dulu, time CNY memang happening jugak. Bertambah happening sebab kena kerja extra hours!! Penat tapi best sebab kerja kat shopping complex adalah sesuatu yang amat best. Mid Night Sale especially.. Jusco J Card Day pun...

Then bila aku start served Bumiputra colleges, the tradition terstop dengan sendirinya. Just wishes through phone call & SMS, Facebook, etc to my Chinese friends esp. BUT for this year, Warung Seni make CNY happening tau event inside Warung Seni itself tak pasang tanglung. We still celebrate, wish and the best part, dapat angpow!!! It always be the best part la kan sebab dapat angpow. Aunty yang rumah sebelah Hard Rock Cafe tu bagi!!! Best best!!! Kalau raya puasa, sah2 aku yang kena bagi angpow.. hahahha...

Ana, Anne & me yang happy lepas dapat angpow. The $$ is not a matter, the ONG & the remembrance are the most important

A Little Appreciation

I met someone who can be considered 'AMAT LOST CONTACT' sekian lama. Aha.. he was my junior when I was in MOZAC. Dulu quite close la jugak but then, lepas habis skolah, dah memang tak contact langsung. Yeah, we are 'friend' @ Facebook, tapi nak kata hai hai dalam setahun sekali pun belum tentu.

It happened bila he contacted me for the Red Velvet. Dia order 10 jars and itulah kejadian dipertemukan selepas 18 tahun, but thanks God, we still recognised each other. We had a long chat, lunch, laughed, and macam-macam lagi. Thanks for the lunch Kucheng!!! Thats the name I called him.

He told me yang his wife fav is Red Velvet. "Nak beli jiwa bini Kak Eleen". So sweet.. Even masa sekolah dulu he can be considered as 'nakal' la jugak, but bila dah jadik bapak, sah2 la kena berubah kan? He told me yang he really appreciate his wife because his wife is a fulltime housewife, taking care of his 4 kids, buat kerja rumah yang tak pernah selesai & sabar dgn kesibukan dia. So, every week, dia akan beli something for his wife to make her happy. Sweet kan? Berapa banyak lelaki yang buat macam tu ya?

We do have a long chat actually, 18 tahun punya cerita tak kan nak habis for 1 hour kan?

"Sis, how do you feel when you have to scarified your 5 figure salary?"

My answer, "It was quite tough at the begining, tapi memikirkan my kids need me more than the students in the colleges, i redha. The family need me more la dik.."

"Tak pe, belief me, the reward will come to you. Tinggal antara cepat atau lambat je. Besar pahalanya sis."

Oh, tiba-tiba jadi touching!!! Before kitaorang dismiss, dia do propose some business proposals and yes, thank you so much!!! Thats the good things of being Muzaffarians.. We do support each other & we do support 'keluaran Muzaffar'...
