My New Job!!!

My new job!!! Hahaha... So far belum ada gaji lagi. Since Azimin came back from London & sejak berita dia masuk surat khabar bertalu-talu, I have been his Personal Assistant cum Manager cum Maid to him... Why?

Azimin's schedules are so tight!!! Direct, tak de rest. Nak cari free time nak ajak pergi kedai beli sabun basuh pun tak de. Sudahnya, I have to go by my own.

For example, on Monday, 5th Nov 2007 - I was on MC since sakit gigi + penat. But, Azimin has to attend some conference in Marriot Putrajaya. So, early in the morning, I sent him to Marriot Putrajaya, then, i went to merehatkan diri at Serenity Spa Bangi. After 2.5 hours, masa tengah siap-siap lepas habis sessi merehatkan diri... I checked my hp and ada a few missed calls + sms. Azimin... Guess what? Dia cakap may be dia kena gie Langkawi on Wednesday sebab nak cari suppliers for his Toilet project. Pukul 1.30pm nak kena ambik Azimin kat Marriot sebab dia ada hal lain tengaharinya. Sebab habis kat spa pun dah lambat sebab sibuk dok bergossip dengan staff kat sana, so, I just sempat singgah Petronas jer and bought sanwiches + air tin (oppps!!! I'm still on diet from taking any rice!!!). Azimin sedap-sedap lunch kat Marriot, aku just makan sanwiches jer... hahaha... Then, we went to Putrajaya MOF to settle a few applications for Archiforce Invent. Lepas tu, he sent me to dentist kat Bangi. Dia tinggalkan jer aku kat situ coz he need to take a few things @ UKM. After all those kecoh-kecoh things, we went back home and dia kena siapkan the animation for the Breathing DORR + Estract Toilet for Astro Awani. Nasib baik his interview for Astro Awani dah postpone to Tuesday. Kalau tak, lepas tu kena berkejar ke Astro Awani pulak... That night, we all duduk rumah. Makan apa yang ada... lepas tu tido...

Azimin was interviewed by Astro Awani on Tuesday, 6th Nov 2007 for Sudut Pandang program by Kamarul Bahrin. At first, we tought Astro Awani nie kat Bukit Jalil, rupa-rupanya kat KL, dekat Bursa Malaysia's Building. Sudah!!! So, Azimin picked me up right after office and we straight away to UKM. The driver from Astro Awani supposed to ambik both of us at UKM Mosque. Tunggu punya tunggu, tak nampak batang hidung pun. Rupanya, the driver pergi tunggu kat UPM Mosque. We asked him to wait there since the traffic to Bangi was not so good.

Sampai Astro Awani, the producer - Nadzri Kahar sambut we all. Dia bawak we all lepak-lepak kat office tu sambil minum-minum. Since I was not feeling well, so aku hanya minum air mineral jer la... We did borak-borak about banyak benda. I was so impressed dengan the office design & interior. modern looks...

Kamarul Bahrin came over and join us after dia siap touch-up. We were introduced to Azian (the Guest Officer). Very nice lady and dia lah yang layan aku through out the night while waiting for Azimin. Masa dengan Azimin rasa macam kuli pun ada... Kena angkat barang, kena simpankan kunci kereta, kena jawab hp dia, etc... But then, Astro staff bagi layanan first class... Siap bawakkan our bag & barang2 and even my handbag...

We also met Suhaimi Sulaiman... The famous host. Actually, teringin jugak nak jumpa Dang Suria & Raja Endon Mastura tapi bukan rezeki agaknya... But then, Nadzri (the producer) kata, they might need us to come for another slot sebab tak cukup masa... Seronoknya!!!

Itulah kehidupan aku since Azimin balik dari London. Sometimes, nak rehat pun tak de masa... Kena kerja (Azimin punya matters) masa weekend jugak... Apa nak buat, sekarang nie masa for us kerja kuat for the kids. lucky now dah ada maid... Kalau tak, kesian the kids...

Inilah namanya rezeki... And we believe, rezeki takkan datang bergolek. Even kita tahu rezeki di tangan Tuhan. Tapi, kita tetap kena usaha untuk berjaya, kan?

Quite a number of our relatives yang datang, from both of our sides. My relatives from ayah's side datang around pukul 1.30pm sampai 3.00pm. Lepas tu, Azimin's relatives pulak... Most of them came over since my parents in-law were around. My relatives from mama's side datang lambat sikit, before maghrib and diaorang lepak sini sampai la malam... Riuh umah aku...

Neighbours, friends, business friends, semua datang as planned. Thanks God. UKM students datang around 4pm... As usual, bila diaorang nak balik tu, we all bungkuskan la makanan for them to bawak balik... Student kan...

Macam tu lah every time open house kitaorang every year. Biasalah, hari-hari lain, we all tak ada rumah. That is the only time for us to ajak orang datang rumah and served special foods for them... All the foods was prepared by my parents. I did helped... tolong kopek + potong bawang (very tough job), potong serai, etc.

Before I forget, my sis & bro pun jemput their friends datang sekali since my parents tak buat open house this year. They planned to buat kenduri tahlil somewhere in Dec 2007 nanti. So, reserve la...

For those who spent their time to share the joy with us on that day, thanks a lot... Jumpa lagi tahun depan...

RAYA, RAYA, RAYA & RAYA...

It was a tight weekend. Penat, kenyang, busy, etc… Thanks God! Our maid arrived last Friday. Finally… Setelah puas menanti… I really feel LEGA bila dah ada maid nie. At least, our house looks like a HOUSE la.

At the beginning, Anggun looked so… May be because dia tak biasa dengan outsider. But bila petang tu, Anggun dah ok dah. When my maid ajak dia to go for shower, she ok. Dinner time, we went to KFC since Azimin was fasting on that day. Anggun sat next to my maid and she kopekkan the ayam for Anggun. At night, she can even talk with the maid.

ALAM? He’s ok. As long as he got somebody to carry him, sukalah dia tu…

I had to take leave on Friday. At first, I only took half day leave since Azimin told me that the maid will arrive @ 10am. Then, after all, we found out that the maid actually departed from Medan @ 10am, Medan’s time, which means, it was 11am Malaysian’s time. And she going to arrive LCCT @ 12.45pm. Apalah my husband nie… Kalau tahu, ambik leave petang jer… So that, I have to take another half day for the afternoon punya.

Saturday, we went to a few open houses dekat Subang & Damansara. Itupun dah petang since both of us kena kerja that Saturday. Azimin kerja? Hahahaha… He had to go to UCSI to settle a few students’ marks. The first house that we went was Jackop’s house dekat Subang. As usual, open house rumah dia memang penuh. RHis parent’s house actually.

We had a strong connection with his family & him. Jackop (Mohd Yazmeen Mohd Yusoff is his real name) was my classmate in MOZAC. What a co-incident, his sister & his brother-in-law (Shaz & Peejoy) were working @ Limkokwing (Shaz is still with Limkokwing as a photographer). Azimin & me know both of them without knowing that Jackop & Shaz are adik-beradik. Then, both Jackop & Shaz give us some ID projects (their parent’s house, their dad’s office, etc). So that, tiap-tiap tahun open house rumah Jackop’s parents & apa-apa function yang dibuatnya, kena la kitaorang attend.

After Jackop’s house, then, we went to Acik Ita house. Just nearby ajer. There makan lagi!!! Even puas aku dah pesan kat Acik Ita, no need to cook anything. She served us Laksa Johor… Rindunya dengan Laksa Johor!!! Lama tak makan… Last time, when my grandmother was still around, Laksa Johor will be served @ pagi raya. Then, when atuk dah kembali ke rahmatullah, Acik Ita took the responsibility to cook Laksa Johor during the raya time. May be she knew yang I really miss to eat the laksa johor… Yelah, this year kan raya kat Taiping.

The last house was Diana & Redzuan’s house. Our best-friend (they know Azimin since they were in ITM Shah Alam) in Limkokwing and now both of them in UCSI. Lama jugak borak2 with them…

By the time we sampai rumah, its almost 11pm. Our maid looks so tired. Kesian dia… so, we told her to terus take a rest. ANGGUN & ALAM? Still tak tidur lagi… ALAM? He slept well in the car so bila sampai rumah, terus bangun. ANGGUN? As usual… If not yet 2pm, she will still watching TV.

What else? Azimin’s pictures + the article about Estract Toilet & Breathing DORR keluar suratkhabar. The press conference was on Thursday, 25th Oct 2007 @ UKM. Some picture to share with you guys…

DOUBLE GOLD Award For The Estract Toilet Congrats Ayang!

Raya this year serupa macam tak raya. Azimin tak de, and I spent my whole week in my parent's house. I was not going anywhere for raya, just stayed @ mama's house and waiting for people to come over!!! hahaha... All my aunties & uncles esp from my dad side was come for the raya visit. Not sure when to visit them but, we'll try once Azimin came back...

Azimin called me on Saturday and informed me about his DOUBLE GOLD Award for the Estract Toilet. Special award from the judges. Sempat jugak dia pesan to me to buy The Star newspaper for Sunday edition. Rupanya, ada article about them and he did gave a comment on his breathing door.

The next day, before Azimin naik flight, dia sempat give me a call. Guess what time? His flight was 10pm (London time) and it was around 3am Malaysian's time. Tersengguk-sengguk jawab telefon, dengan line yang tak berapa clear, I just agak-agak apa yang dia cakap...

Azimin arrived @ KLIA around 5.30pm tapi sebab tunggu beg, passed by imigration etc, its became 6.15pm... jenuh tunggu sampai Alam tertidur. Kesian Alam, dia tak dapat sambut his daddy. Penat sungguh dia main2 kat airport sampai tertidur...

Lepas sampai rumah, baru dapat tahu yang actually Azimin got 3 awards. 1 DOUBLE GOLD award for the Estract Toilet, 1 GOLD Medal for the Estract Toilet and 1 GOLD Medal for the Breathing Dorr (the door name is spell as "dorr"). Total = 3 GOLDS... Alhamdulillah, memang rezeki dia agaknya. He was so happy, and it was treated as his b'day present.

Barang2 yang dia bawak balik from London, jangan ceritalah... All the things yang aku pesan dia beli. Yang lain2... macam2lah yang dia beli... he ia a good shopper by the way... Yang paling banyak dapat present, siapa lagi, his lovely daughter la, ANGGUN. Most of the kids clothes memang dia beli kat Marks & Spencer, as what I told him, its a good bargain... the rest, from most of the shop dekat oxford street. I told him do not buy any perfume for me since I have quite a number already but Azimin memang tak boleh tengok perfume for women... He looked for a few brands but at the end, he bought the latest Hugo for women perfume for me. Dia kata, the promoter bagitahu dia yang the perfume belum sampai M'sia lagi. Alah, masa aku pergi hari tu pun, the promoter mentioned the same things... hehehe...

The attached article was published @ The Star on Sunday, 21st Oct 2007, under VIEW section (page F31). Tomorrow, he has another press conference with the UKM delegates @ UKM. Hah... he got a called yesterday from UKM, requested him to go to Kulim for a site visit (kat hutan mana tah for UKM latest projects). Punya la bengang aku... apalagi, muka aku panjang berjela la...Dah la satu rumah pun tak raya lagi since balik from Taiping!!! Nak kena pergi Kulim pulak this weekend. After a few 'caling-caling session', then they agreed to postpone the visit to the ens of November...

Rezeki RAYA , Rezeki ALAM...

We believe in thr rezeki yang Allah bagi pada kami. We believe, the gifts frm God sempena bulan Syawal yang mulia nie, ditambah dengan kehadiran ALAM adalah kurniaan terindah buat kami semua.

Even the raya celebration taklah semeriah selalu since Azimin is away for London on the 3rd raya. So, seminggu sebelum raya, we went to bought our baju raya. Sebelum tu, that week itself, we got a payment from ANGKASA for the MEST toilet projects. Penyerahan tender dah dibuat and alhamdulillah... payment dah masuk sebelum raya.

Azimin got his new Mac laptop hari Rabu, a few hours before we left for Taiping. Hasil dari duit research grant yang dia baru dapat. hahahaha... bergaya la dia dengan laptop baru dia. He made a special request thru Mac Spore so that dia boleh dapat before we all balik raya. nasib baik dapat...

Second raya, pagi-pagi lagi we all dah bertolak balik. Sampai KL, we straight to Batu Caves to see Foo. Foo is the very important person to us. He is the one yang buat model for Azimin, for Archiforce and banyak lagi. in fct, he is one of the friends that close to us. lepas tu, sampai rumah, my parent took Anggun & Alam for raya. They went to Kelana Jaya beraya rumah nek su aku. And since Azimin was too busy ngemas barang-barang, my parents took ALAM to their house for that night.

Almost 9.30pm, baru Azimin realised yang dia belum tukar duit lagi.. so, terus pergi money changer kat Giant. the next day, pukul 9am lagi we all dah ada kat KLIA sebab Azimin buat group check-in. I met all the group members yang pergi under this Inovasi Team of UKM. And met a few researchers from MOSTI, etc. Most of them semua Prof & Dr...

Tadi, Azimin called to inform that he won a DOUBLE GOLD AWARD. Thanks God, Alhamdulillah... inilah namanya rezeki. Rezeki yang datang lepas satu, satu. And semua nie bukan senang. Lepas both of us bersusah payah harungi macam-macam dugaan, macam-macam cabaran. berdepan dengan dengki iri hati orang yang tak pernah surut.

So, rasanya open house untuk raya tahun nie, kira onlah... Insyaallah, jemputan akan menyusul tak lama lagi...

Shopping Raya???

Next week is already the hari raya. So soon!!! Rasa macam baru jer last week start puasa. I believe, we are having a tight schedule.

We had a chance to go for shopping last week. Last minutes decison, we went to Mid Valley. it was damm jammed. Teruk sangat... But, we were lucky sebab quite easy to get the parking. Rezeki...

The first thing we did when we reached Mid Valley was getting the number of Boulavard Hotel & Cititel Hotel from the information counter. After that, I straight away called them to ask about the buka puasa. Actually, we reached Mid Valley pun dah pukul 3pm. Guess what??? Cititell, full. Boulavard - only smoking area available. We were not comfortable with the smoking area since we brought Alam together. So, we decided to find other fine & dine place for our buka puasa.

We shortlisted a few places (definately we choose fine dine places since Alam was with us; no need to Q to buy food, no need to carik tempat, etc). Little Penang Cafe, Amarin Thai & Madam Kwan. After all, we went to Madam Kwan and made a reservation.

Nothing much we bought. Too crowded!!! I could not take it!!! Sakit jiwa. Just imagine, I spent almost half an hour to Q to withdraw money from the ATM @ the centrecourt. Lucky I left the kids with Azimin dekat Toys'r'us. Jusco & Metrojaya, langsung tak boleh masuk. Dari entrance, nampak orang jer, barang tak nampak langsung. Can you imagine how the Q @ the cashier will be?

At last, we just went in to the small small shop ajer. Anggun sibuk nak beli toys kat Toys'r'us and Alam pun sibuk tunjuk-tunjuk the baby toys. Kopak lagi... Depa dua orang nie macam tahu aku baru dapat gaji!!! Passed by MNG and sempat jugak belek2 jeans. Actually, dah nak beli since the last mega sales lagi but then, biasa la aku nie. Tunggulah, nantilah... Since it was a good offer, I just grab it. Azimin suruh ambik ajer sebab dia dah tak tahan tengok aku berulang-ulang masuk MNG (at the different places, KLCC, Isetan, Mid Valley, etc).

We went to take a rest dekat.... Teka kat mana? Hahahaha... Dekat Jucso punya Baby Room. Baby room dia siap ada baby coat, sofa, etc. So, we all duduk dalam that room, baringkan Alam, tukar apa yang patut... Azimin sempat lelap sekejap... Almost 45 minutes if I not mistaken. Penat... Penat tengok orang ramai...

Then, Anggun kata dia haus pulak. Sudah, kat mana nak minum? I dont know how but then, Azimin & me do suggested the same place at the same time. MPH Book Cafe. We went there and Anggun mintak Esprit punya air... Sabar jer la budak bertuah nie... Sambil Anggun minum, both Azimin & me did some reading. Lepas dia habis minum, we went around MPH, looking for some books. Azimin spent his time dekat magazine corner and dekat Architecture punya books. Me? Pusing and pusing dengan stroller Alam, I ended up buying a few novels. Azimin looked at me with... Mesti dia kata, rasanya ada a few plastic yang belum bukak pun kat rumah... Yes, sometimes I forgot either that novel dah beli ker belum. And once, i bought the same novels for twice.

Bukan apa, selalunya aku beli to get inspiration & ideas to finish up my current projects. A few projects pending; tourism books, kids book and the novels. Azimin punya SOHO books (Small Offices, Home Offices) just went through a few editing processes. Since we already add in 'publication' as one of the Archiforce Invent scope, senanglah sikit kerjanya. ISBN can be obtained from our printer partner.

Sharp 6.30pm, we went to Madam Kwan. Lucky they allocated us at the corner. Senang sikit nak letal stroller Alam (That's one of the reasons why we dont like bulky stroller). I ordered Nasi Bojuri, Azimin pulak makan lamb chop, and we did order ice-cream for dessert. then, Anggun pulak nak ABC. It was a plesent place with a very helpful and friendly staff!!! Seriously, the staff do take care of Alam so much. Alam got a baby plate (of course yang kosong) for him to play and not to disturb us. They also didnt mind to kutipkan Alam toys yang kejap-kejap dibuangnya ke lantai...

Madam Kwan full house. Kaya-kaya orang KL nie... Even, some people were 'Q'ing outside waiting for people to habis makan. The food also so good!!!! And I can say, the price was reasonable, much more cheaper compared to the hotel buffet. Lucky we were not going for the buffet. Kalau tak, just imagine how we want to take care of our Alam yang semakin lasak...

Lepas buka, we went back to ENSTEK. Memang tak boleh shopping langsung. Tak tenteram. Dengan nak monitor the kids lagi... Bila mengingatkan kisah Arwah Nurin Jazlin, gerun aku. So today, pagi-pagi lagi aku dah isi leave card. I will be on leave on 8th Oct - Monday, 11,12 and 16th Oct. My bosses tanya, why do i applied leave on Monday? My answer: "Nak pergi beli baju raya".

Another good news today, I received an email from one of the art gallery in Bangsar. The gallery is interested to have a look at Azimin's actual artwork. Actually, I did drop an email to a few art galleries yesterday. And thanks God, this gallery gave me a good response. So, we will go to see them on Monday (hari aku plan nak pergi beli baju raya!!!). At night, one more email came-in and asking us to send a full CV of Azimin. Thanks God. I hope, it will be the best birthday present for him. Dia memang dah lama wish to exhibit his artworks...
